Yeah, it dosent vary, it sounds like a taser gun that the police use on people (not that i know first hand) , it stays constant, its not an exaust leak, it seems to be on the upper part of the engine, its real fast like, and is constant ,,, what if its that relay, thing? lol , wheres a link to that guys? RELAY? Ive never had any experiance with that before.
The CCC carbs use a mix control solenoid that constantly hits it's "stops" while the vehicle is running, and IIRC, also while the key is in "run".
Been awhile since I messed with my CCC equipped car, but I remember when I hooked up an ECM that actually worked, the MCS started ticking, and it's supposed to. I just can't recall if you turn key to run if it keeps pulsing, or stops after a few seconds.
Maybe you have become so in tune with your truck you are picking things up you didn't before? Pull the plug on the top passenger side of the carb and see if it goes away.
They're usually black plastic 'boxes' about 1"x1"x1" with 4-5 wires coming out of the bottom, or plugged into a relay box with several others somewhere under the hood. It's been so long since I've done relay electronics on an old chevy I can't recall where they are for sure.
