Timing

So I've got a 350 out of and 85 c20suburban so it has a 4 bolt main. I have put wieand dual plain intake with an edlebrock 650 cc carb with long tube heads I just put a new cam in it with .443 lift on exhaust and intake with 280 duration and 110 degrees of lobe separation. I was wo der how much timing I should put on it.

Well depends on your elevation for base timing

10* lead and 36* total is pretty good

I live in Georgia near Atlanta so I'm not at a crazy elevation or anything

Those settings should work pretty good for you.

We add more base timing at higher elevations due to lack of oxygen/cylinder pressure
