I need to drill the figure 8 bolt pattern into a round pattern case. Sold what I need, might as well convert what I have.

I have drilled the round pattern into a couple 203s but I cheated with a clocking ring.

How would yall go about drilling a 205 face for a figure 8 pattern? I have a pretty nice drill press setup but I'm no machine shop. My plan was pretty hokey pokey and just take a gasket and go to town.

Hopefully someone has a better idea lol

I do but it's a dodge one which is pretty tough to punch or mark well on the other.

Gotcha, yeah, those would be a PITA to use.

If you can't find a figure 8 adapter to borrow, the gasket should work. The machine work on the parts will line everything up, the pattern doesn't have to be super precise.

If you don't want to venture that, I can send you a drawing for it on Monday if you shoot me an email (contact page on our site).

I think that might be a good start. Not immediately able to source an adapter. Thanks for the help!

Well crud. If you would have posted this a couple weeks ago I would have traded you a bare large bearing figure 8 for your round case. I needed round but resorted to a 8 to round adapter. Bummer.
