I think the truxus mts would not last to terribly long but they are good on ice and snow.

I don't know anything on the vortracs except they last a while zero knowledge on traction

The vortracs probably then. I didn't get the plow thing a while back but man do I know. Next week modding a plow frame for a guy who just lifted his truck. Just doesn't work quite as good anymore.

Been warm here but as they say.....winter is coming

Yeah , you really need to have the plow A-frame as close to perpendicular to the ground as possible or it just doesn’t work right with the 4” lift and 35” rubber I’m right at the max adjustment in my plow .

I have a Fisher push frame on my '85 K10 Suburban that came off a truck with a 4" lift...they modified the push frame by dropping the push bar the 4" to compensate..
With no lift on the Suburban and 225/75-15 tires,the push frame looks very close to the ground,I suspect there will be places it'll bottom out on, if I drove it with those dinky tires on it..I planned to get at least 31/10.50-15's for it..

Whoever built the home brewed push frame on my 4x4 pickup also made it hang pretty low,but I cant recall ever having it drag or bottom out climbing up steep driveways or anywhere around town..yet!..

lots of guys raise the a-frame side mount tabs over hacking / and dropping the truck side .

and on fisher plows its real easy to do . see pics below .

also these newer plow setups hang stupid low on most of these ifs trucks . i am surprised more people do not get hung up on them .

old style like i run is on the engine belt drive . i have a rare not many made electric clutch head like a a/c comp unit pump . some had electric under the hood tho .

all newer quick mount plow setups from about anyone there up front in the lift frame that comes off with the plow when you release the quick pins . @beags86

Yeah,I don't know why they decided to lower the push bar instead of just adding plates to the A frame like yours,it would have been easier,and probably lowering the push bar adds more leverage to shove it back if you slammed something hard..

I could modify my A-Frame , but that would mean modifying both of my plows .

My other truckside mount is for a GMT400 though so it would be better not to mess with that.
