TnA Release of Winch Cradle!

I want to run this but I need to figure out how to mount my CUCV grill to it.

Here is a CUCV brush guard mounted to a winch cradle. This is the older version of the cradle with some bolts on the front that he used. The current winch cradle does not have any bolts on the front, so you'd have to drill them to match the guard. This was done by CK5 member "Richcz28", so please get in touch with him for more details about what he actually had to do.

Do you make a winch cradle that will bolt up to a '73-'80 without frame rail modification?

If not do you have plans of making one?

I'm sorry, I do not have any that will bolt up without the end of the frame horn being trimmed off. I would love to make a different version to fit that frame exactly, but I do not have a virgin frame to use for mockup, nor do I have much free time at the moment. If I get the chance in the future, I will make one, but no immediate plans.

Sounds good, when you come out with that version I'll be the first to buy it!

Any word about the warn winch lock handle vrs. oil cooler lines issue?

As far as I have even seen, all the Warn winches that will fit the cradle can be "clocked" where the release lever is. Once clocked out of the way, it should work fine.

Have you put weight on the wings to see how much they hold?

Other than standing on them, I haven't put any weight on top of them, no. In the upwards direction, as if you were setting down on a rock, they will have a little movement up, then contact the rad support. I'll be getting mine painted and onto the shop Jimmy soon, so PM me exactly what you are thinking about and I'll do some tests for you.

They moved a bit before I put my cucv guard on. They move enough that they won't keep a tree out of your blinkers. But, with the brush guard on they really stiffen up nice. I think the new design with integrated mounts will be a bit stiffer.

Hey Guys,
I am now offering the side "wings" with light cutouts specifically for the SideTracked 4 or 6 row LED lights. These lights are very well built, and have great sealed wiring connectors, plus they are from a great vendor here on CK5. No charge option for the cutouts!

It looks like the Warn VR12000 will fit by offsetting the holes in the cradle a little bit.

I took a picture of this spec sheet last time I was at 4WP

Bump...are you still making these? I thought a while ago you had a website, but I don't see it anymore??

My brother may be interested in purchasing this with the wings to put on his 78 K5 (yes we will plan on trimming the frame horns down and drilling new bolt holes). We live in CO too and could probably just drive up and get it from you instead of paying for shipping. So what would the overall cost of the cradle and two wings be?

Hey Steve! Yes I'm still around, making orders as they come in. Haven't had much free time to develop new stuff for the K series trucks lately so that's why you haven't seen me as active on these forums lately. I messaged you via Facebook.
