TnA's 86 Jimmy Shop Build / Product Development Thread - (Trailing Arms?!?!)

Bummmer to hear all this going down at the same time, we hope you get back on your feet again soon! Sometimes a big reset is just what life ordered! Try to stay positive

Thanks man - I'm certainly trying to look at this in the best way possible. After all the stuff went down and then having a ridiculously hard time finding any garage space at a reasonable cost, finally signing the lease last week really took a load off my shoulders. Now I'm faced with trying to move a whole shop's worth of crap into 1/3 the space, but now I know that I'm going to have to take a couple months off (at least) and I know that I can cover my bills for a couple months - so things are good. Maybe throughout these next couple months I can actually take a weekend off once in a while (two days off in a row?!?! who DOES that???? I haven't had that pleasure in a VERY long time!) I think it will be good! Like you said, I can re-set my mind, and see just where and how to go forward from here.

Haha time off! You’re funny!
We’ve been trying to make time as well, it’s funny how that usually ends up filled with some kind of project. But I suppose that’s how we all end up here.. we can’t leave anything alone.
If there is some way we can help, with the business please reach out, I’ll do whatever I can to assist.

Lol, yeah time is always hard to come by for sure. Thanks for the offer, I'll try my best to keep posting up here sho your all can keep track of my progress.

....and... I'm still around, lol. I'm set up in the new "tiny shop" enough to make some products here and there. It's a pain in the butt to get anything done because we are tripping over each other in there and fighting for space (I have a full-time guy working for me now). So basically we are just keeping a few things going out the door as the orders come in from those who already know us. We aren't doing any advertising yet (well not really, just some FB and Instagram posts) because we really can't afford the time or space for too much more work.
That being said, I opened a new company in my "spare" time, and that is starting to get going. My goal is to get both businesses to a point where they can co-exist and jointly pay for a bigger shop space. That way both businesses can grow.
The 4wd stuff just doesn't quite pay the bills at it's current state, and to get to the next level would require a large financial investment in tools, space, labor, etc... and I just don't have the available funds at my disposal. So until the two businesses can help support each other, I'm stuck in a space that doesn't quite cut it.

In the meantime, anyone on CK5 can still contact us and we will make parts for you all. There may be some lead times, but shouldn't be too bad.

....and my full-time guy quit. Lol, if it ever seems like things are going in the right direction, just wait a moment and that'll change!! Oh well. I'll just have to figure out how to move forward in a different manner now.
