toyota drivetrain parts...

[ QUOTE ]
To bad Your so far away I could set You up big time other than the engine. I sold My last one two weeks ago.

[/ QUOTE ]

Would you be willing to meet me in Redding next week on Friday or drop his parts off at Camsk5's place before next weekend? I could get parts back to Jason for you /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The key is that I need a top-shifting case (as opposed to a forward shifting case).

[/ QUOTE ]
Ok I got one case that came from a 93 with a 22RE and a 5 speed with hubs. The t-case shifter is right next to the tranny shifter on the tranny it's self.
The other one is from like a 94-95 model that had a V6 5 speed and auto hubs. The t-case shifter is futher back on the t-case. I was told that it's a chain drive case /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Ok I have a compleat 79-81 front axel. One compleat 82-83 front axel. Three compleat 84-85 axels and one that is missing the 3rd member.

BTW. The engine I sold was a running 84 along with the tranny t-case frame front and rear axels (4.10). I sold it all for........... Oh Your gonna like this.............

$200.00 /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

Damn, I'm busy on both My days off this week and there is no way I could make a trip to Redding this week. It would be a whole day to make a round trip. How often do You come down?

yeppers, that sounds like a "forward shift" case. Check out the pics about half way down the page that show the difference...

linky

forward shift tcases are cool, but I need a top shifter for my toy doubler. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Dude, what'chu want for the complete 84-85 that is missing the 3rd? I'm gonna run the stronger v6 third members in my toy buggy anyway... so all I really need in a front axle is the housing, brake stuff, hubs, shafts and birfs. Steering arms and 4 cyl-era 3rd members i don't really need. Anyway, yeah, if you could hook me up with a good price on your 84-85 thirdless toy front axle, that would rock. I'm sure we could figure out a way to get it up here via the CK5-member express. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif $100.00 if thats cool /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I do think that the calipers are gone but I could come up with some others.
Just so You know it has been sittin outside and it is dirty and greasy. When I pulled the 3rd member I tossed the wheel bearings, but You would be replacing them anyways. I'll check on the rotors to see what shape their in.
I would also take a dana 60 in trade /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Got hung up installing my 6.2 today when I found out it needs a timing chain and none of the parts stores stock them (going to be here tuesday at the earliest), so probably wont make it down there this week... gotta figure out when I will make it back down there now but we might be able to work out meeting in Redding /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

yeah, i guess I could do $100... it'd have to be complete minus the 3rd though.. brakes, hubs and everything else. I can deal with grease/dirt/rust, thats part of the fun of this project... but I gotta have all the parts I need. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif lemme know!

btw, picked up my toy rearaxle housing along with the w56 tranny and top shifting tcase yesterday. Funniest thing was when I got home I pulled the axle housing out of the back of my truck and it was ludicrously light weight. lol! It was just the housing with shafts / brakes, but I could easily lift the thing, carry it, move it around etc. The difference between them and what Im used to (d60 front, ff14b rear) was just shocking. lol! this project is gonna be a blast. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I've got a front axle for you. Not sure what year it is but it has the truss from the diff to the knuckle. There are no brake calipers but the rotors are there (need to be replaced anyways.. rust) I believe it's got 4.10's also. I don't know how to go about shipping but if you're interested I'll let it go cheap. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

[/ QUOTE ]

that would be an axle out of a 84-85 truck or 4runner. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Damn, you're out west...... I have a '91 rear axle with 4.10's.

I also have some new engine parts for sale if you need some.

Here's a list:

timing chain kit with plastic guides - $35
Melling cam - stock replacement - $30
fel-pro timing chain gasket kit- $5

that '91 have a v6? I'm not looking for whole axle housings, got them covered... but I do need good v6-era 3rd members with stock 4.10 gears...

j

ttt!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Nope, sorry.. It's a 4cyl third.

ttt...changed a few things. Come to realize I prolly dont NEED v6 thirds... so open 4cyl 3rds with factory 4.10s are back on the "wanted" list. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I can still help You out if need be, but a compleat(hub to hub) front end is gonna run You $200. I would make sure it would be a fully trused 84-85 model and a 4.10. Just let Me know if You need it.

so does that one come with calipers and everything? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
