Trail request for BB13

Hells revenge?

Poison Spider?

That's all I can think of that are a good fit.

I think Fins and Things is a great Moab newbie run. Its not that hard but has some steep things and plenty to practice the Moab bump on :D

It also has about 50 different points where you can exit and be back on pavement in short order.

I don't what the deal is but everytime I've offered Fins, nobody signed up.

Here's the deal with Hells Revenge. Technically Hells Gate and the Hot Tubs are off limits for the sanctioned trail run. I think the same may be true of the Escalator too but I can't remember for sure.

I think every full size should do the squeeze in helldorado at least once in its life........
It definitely entertaining

Top of the World
Did you guys like Bangs and Billings cause we also have 21 road and some others.
Maybe some of the Montrose Trails.
Kane Creek
Moab Rim
Pritchet
BFE
Anything we havent ever Run that might be new and Challenging or not challenging.
really wanna do elephant hill, just not sure a full sized rig can get through the squeeze play in one piece

I was thinking about Montrose stuff for a Thursday run again, but the downside is that it's a heck of a haul running down and back again from the direction most people will come.

Next time I go to moab I kinda plan on hitting that 21 road on the way. Thar Billings Canyon was kinda a let down to me though. Reminds me a lot of Kong in the Black Hills.

Flat Iron in reverse says no long wheel base. I wanna run it now just to see what gets mashed...

:haha:

I've done that trail both ways. Once alone. The rains had washed it out and I was lost for an hour. No big deal either direction.

True but if everyone turned south and went to Ridgway towards Nucla to Uravan it would at least eleminate some Back tracking. Would be a slower trip but scenic

On Monday I took Rob (white SAS 4 runner) and Justin (stockish 4 runner) through a bunch of trails and had a blast doing it.

-First we hit the Gemini Bridges (dirt road), hiked down and took pictures on top of the bridges.
-We left the stock runner in the parking lot for Gemini Bridges and ran through Metal Masher.
-Picked the stocker back up and ran Bull run, hiked to the bottom of Gemini Bridges for more pictures.
-Found a little used "Difficult" trail called Little Canyon that dumped us out on the exit road for Gold Bar Rim (just after Butt Scratcher).

It made for a great day, no breaks, everyone got to test their rigs to the limit and we didn't have any problems. I think we spent about 10 hours on the red stuff.
