transporting a truck...anyone know a good company?

Really? I am sorry to heat that. I guess I got lucky. Oh well, I'll shut my mouth now.

NO NO its cool, Im just frustrated that I have bought a truck and cant get anyone to deliver the damn thing. Theres no snow or inclimate weather in sight from pick-up to my door

This guy helped me out in a bind a couple of years ago transporting my K5 and my 64 Stepside from Oregon to Texas. I got screwed by one of those brokers and was stuck without someone to transport my vehicles on the day scheduled and I was all loaded up and ready to move all my other stuff the next day. George picked up my cars on a Saturday evening so I could leave on Sunday morning instead of waiting until Monday.

He did tell me he was looking to retire in the next few years, so I'm not positive if he is still in business. Nice guy older guy...

In trucking no company is perfect, you gotta remember they have people, people are not perfect.
So where is you truck at now and where is it going?
And how much did they quote you to move it?
You can PM me if you don't want it here.
Maybe I can help you out.:dunno:

Oh dont get me wrong I understand delays. I just wish I had known they were just a contract house and basically throw the order out and see if a driver picks it up.

The truck is fully paid for ready to be picked up in Grand Junction Colorado 81503 and delivered to me in Houston Texas 77095. They quoted me $960 for open carrier.

Its a 2wd swb 1976 GMC sierra 1500, stock height suspension, runs good with good brakes.
