I'm going to use J**p hood latches for mine along with an adjustable padded stopper (similar to hood adjustment cushions)

Austin Hardware sells a rotary latch very similar to OEM and they work well with the stock striker bolts. I beleive the model number is U-300...

That's what I have on my tube doors and they can be slammed shut like a regular door. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Thanks a lot, I'll look into that. The lacth is the only thing holding up Popes and Bell's doors
