sorry t o dissapoint! he has not been around. How good of a match would a 90ish 4 door long bed chevy be? its lowered and has the tbi454

just put it on video...... I don't mind watching you drag a street tire'd truck around as a warm up. Then go find some other idiot with a PSD Ford and drag him around as well

right now i'm not going because of money, but it is a possibility. If we both went to pismo we'd probably just burry ourselves, lol but i'll let you know next time I plan on pismo.
 
Yeah it's gonna be an expensive trip up to hollister for me too. Anyway hope you get to pull somebody around:D
 
I was just talking with a friend and he has a 94 dodge cummins turbo deisel he just had the turbo turned up on it I wonder how that would fair with the 514 caddy :dunno:

He had some very good confidence in it and actually laughed a little.

More importantly, he should outweigh you and he definantly has more wheelbase than you. I will also say he just may have better rubber on the ground. Seems A/T's and M/T's have been popular at the sled pulls on similar trucks.

I know Branndon knows how to drive, but if the other guy does too it's a done deal IMHO, provided that the Ford does have a limited slip in the back.

shorter wheel base will help him... think about weight transfer. Only reason tow vehicles are long wheelbase is so they don't get pushed around by the load. Also this thing is a pickup... which are notorius for being light in the rear...:D

Should be fun!! I'm way outgunned in the power dept, but I might hold ya for a bit!! I need to do some mods to the intake and exhaust to get some more power out of my 6.2L "maybe this weekend"??
 
well sunday is fathers day so you'll probably be busy, theres a good spot kinda by the 91 freeway and tustin avenue. I have some home projects to do on saturday, but I could set aside an hour or so for it :D let me know if you want to try

well saturdays out for me I'm helping a friend texture their ceiling before they move in to their new house. If I finish early maybe in the afternoon then!??
