Thats mighty kind of you:D. Im a newb at this and have seen some very talented people here that I couldnt begin to hold a candle to. Learnin everyday though and am anxious to get this rig on the trail.



Got the 14b back "down stairs" and under the blazer with the help of reddog64. Yep, it was upstairs in a room im remodeling that I used as a paint booth (well exhausted) during the cold, high humidity weather. Heres a few pics-

37" XTerrains on 17x9's w/4.5" bs. Getting out of my garage ill definately need the wheels off the 91 g30 donor van I bought for the motor to put in my suburban. The 56" springs on the van w/14bsf measure 2 1/4" and not 2 1/2". Wasnt expecting that:confused:. Moved the 14bff back an inch and half with the zero rates.

So today im going to get some brake lines made for the rear disc swap at a local place another friend of mine turned me on to. Then ill be doing some serious fender cuttin and finishing my steering/frame braces. Hope it turns out good. If the weather isnt to bad ill hit the wreckers for some stuff I need as well.
 
1 - I've been over to your place how many times and still didnt know you had a build thread...

2 - I still cant believe you had a 14 bolt UPSTAIRS in your house...

3 - Fenders look great!
Now we gotta get your rear driveshaft lengthened... or maybe the one fomr the one ton truck i have will work.. if it's shortened...???

Yes, a lengthened shaft is imperative. Im interested in yours, no funny stuff:shame:.

Trying to figure out the front grill and wheel wells. I used a shelf from a Metro rack for the grill and some sheet metal up front. Need to cut and bend wheel well to fold up and meet new sheet metal in front and back filling the gaps.

Got the 60 painted and under the truck. My 35 spline outers should be here next week so I can button that up. Ord forgot my pitman arm when I bought the crossover during their xmas sale. I just realized it, gave them a call and they are sending one out to me. Thanks ORD:D!

My garage is clean:D, does that count. I did just get your tires too, took all friggin day. Coulda been working on the blazer but im worried about your build. Where is it by the way:confused:. If I could just learn to focus and not jump from thing to thing... I might get somewhere.
40 hits the 1st week of may so I can do one of to things-
start over or... hit a midlife crisis and buy a Vette. I want the blazer, im going to work now.

Federal way, Tacoma, Puyallup... Im down in Spanaway and you guys are all pretty close. Come over this weekend and help me finish up my rig! Free beer! (Fat tire, i do not really care for that heineken stuff).
 
I like your makeshift tailgate. Are you gonna run it with your top on. or are you gonna run it like a pickup.
