Now as for what I said earlier. There isn't many new trucks out there that has the off road capability as your truck sits now. A jeep Rubicon maybe be an ideal replacement but the ¾ ton and up trucks does not qualify for the replacement because of their low mpg. Plus the modifications you have to do to get a new rig off road ready are a lot of money. Then you destroy your new rig off road and it ends just as ugly as your old rig. Heck check out Supersize75 thread on his 07 and watch him build up and destroy his rig before he finish paying it off.
However, finding a separate daily driver that gets good gas mileage is recommend.
Well. Broke that bumper. Hooked a tree backing off an obstacle, and snapped it off right in the HAZ from the weld.
Welded a new bumper on. We'll see how long this one lasts.
I never built a new rig. This is the only 4x4 I've owned. a couple bodies later, sure. I build it to beat on on it like a redheaded step child, over and over again.
In the last pic it looks like the whole front end of the truck is crooked. This is just the angle the picture was taken. The hood still sits where it belongs, just the fenders are all banged up.
