That new k5 concept ain't too bad. I'd drive it. Just looks like a avalanche with the back end open.

Avalanche? No, to me it looks like an Isuzu Amigo w/out the soft-top and a Chevy sticker.
IMO, a K5 should say, "I'm an old bad-ass truck and they don't make them like me anymore." Or, "I'm a new bad-ass truck w/ some serious roots, just as tough as the old and more capable!"
This concept truck says, "I'm a spoiled little rich kid who's daddy bought my this truck for my 16th birthday....please come hit on my girlfriend."
....just saying.

the concept k5 i think it was a waste to add those tinny windows for the back on the sides. look's big on the outside but by the time yo get inside and try and look out them thay would be a huge waste of time/ money / design / effort.

We look at these builds as strange because I think all of us on here have a true appreciation for what we know and understand as good solid engineering and functional rigs.
Majority of the crazy looking stuff has had a bunch of money, time and flashy parts thrown at them with very poor judgement on the owners part!!
I wonder how many people out there look at our rigs the same way???
I know that is what I always thought until I found the CK5 forum!!!

I guess an 8 foot lift is one way of making sure you can clear your 35s without rubbing.

I actually like this....figure that's what a Pirate's Suburban would look like.....aaaarrrrrr!! 
Just for that, I'm gonna put some of that adhesive-backed woodgrain contact paper on my K5.
