Ive had my suspicions for a while and now I confirmed this. My drivers side of my truck is 1/4" lower than the passenger side. Ive gone to various locations to find level ground and even turned the truck 180* and re-measured. Im measuring from the ground to the bottom of the wheel well lip right in center line with the axles. It was this way in the front and the back.

What would cause this? What can I look for and/or check? My shocks arent blown and seem in good shape. Ive checked tire pressure and tire wear. all equal around.

Ideas?

That's well within the normal range. You just have a spring that is slightly more worn than the others. It's common to find 1/2" differences...

Thanks. I was freaking out. It makes sense for it to be the drivers side as Im the only person in the truck.

I was afraid it could be A) bent axles, but that wouldnt explain the front and back being equal or would it? B) my rock slider project that ties the body to the frame but with bushings.

I may end up changing my springs out in the near future, mine are getting pretty rusty and are starting to reverse arch.

Measuring from the ground to the wheel well is a bad idea as you could have a bad body bushing which will throw off your measurement. You need to find level ground then measure from the ground to a given point on the frame that is the same on each side at the front and again each side at the rear.

I have this same issue and found that my drivers side body bushing is shot (I have new poly bushings but have yet to swap them in).

mine has got to be about 1" maybe more lower on the passenger side.. im thinkin its because i have my 2 big group 31 batteries on the fender well.

I dont think even my garage floor is THAT level, where I could see that small a difference!...I'd say anything within 1" you wont notice it driving it, much...

It's normal for vehicles to lean to the driver's side due to them usually having a slight weight imbalance in that direction. Most vehicles spend their time with only the driver in it. Over time this affects things.

Dunno about GM but several other car makers make springs that are slightly heavier rated on the d-side vs the p-side.

Yeah, like others have said, 1/4 is nothing on a.big truck. I have done vehicles with new everything and still be off 1/4 or more

If you order new springs anytime soon, check the T&D* rating for the driver's side set.
Yours was probably set up with too low a rating.
Its a little known rating system for springs that affects only the driver's side leaf or coil.
Yours was probably a 1 and needs to be a 2.

try running a mini-spool in the back, that will make things lean every time you park it, in new directions :) Mine leans to the drivers side most of the time. the new springs a few years back helped, then I beat the crap out of them, and well, now it leans all over the place like it's some kinda gansta....
