That looks awesome man, good job! :waytogo: I was wondering if there was anything going on with your build lately. Now I know.

were you talking about the front mount on my rear springs? If so, then yeah, I moved them about 2.5" forward. muddybuddy rewelded his, but I don't have a welder.....yet:D . I decieded to tweak the body mount a little and drill out the rivets. Worked out pretty well. The front springs got moved to the other side of the body mount as was described in the technical article.

Thats going to be a problem as my mounts are completely different on my truck

While removing a few springs from my buddy's spring packs, I test fitted his pro- comp 40" tire on my rig. Since I plan to run 39.5" or 40", I snapped some pics so I could photochop some trimming Ideas. I am just concerned that I may not have enough rear inner wheel well clearance. I guess I can clearance them later with a BFH. Heres a rear shot:

Another factor is back spacing. I think I am going to want a little less than what his wheels have. I'd like my tires to be "barely illeagal":D

If you have read my other threads you know that I was thinking about buying a caddilac 500. After careful consideration, I have decieded to hold off on that and concentrate on getting my rig driveable once again. My current motor should be ok for a while longer anyway. So....here is a list of things that need to be done. I may edit this list for awhile untill I get to my next step cause this is a good place to store it. Please let me know of cheaper means than what I have listed.

I cam up with a trim pattern. What do ya think?
It'll work. The cool thing about black trucks is that even if you goof up the cutting slightly, it's harder to notice against the wheelwell 'cause they're both black.
:hack: :D
