After cutting off most of the sheetmetal it was time for some tube work. Got started on it today by making some sliders and getting the main 4 point cage bent up.
Its 64" at the widest point, and im going to try and make it as light as I can. Hopefully under 5000lbs.
Tomorrow I should be able to get most of the bending done and then I can move on to all of the x-bracing, theres going to be alot.:D
I can update this thread if there is anyone who wants to see it.

I think you should keep it like that! Throw on some helmets and football pads and wheel MadMax style.

A bunch of us from AustinK5.com did a group buy at Tripple S steel in San Antonio. We got 1 3/4" x.120 HREW at 1.10 per ft.

Got a little work done on the front today.
Sorry for the crappy pics. My camera doesnt like taking pics in my garage at nite:crazy:

When ya get to it , I'd love to see how your supporting and mounting the radiator .

Are you going to run electric fans and have it close to the motor ?

I just precluded use of a factory core support anything by mounting my winch mount up top on the front framerails for better approach angles :D

yea I will be running a taurus fan with the radiator tilted back.
I have a idea on how I want to mount it but need to get the rest of the tube done first before I can start mounting stuff.

I got a bad cold so it has slowed me down alot.
Yesterday and today I got the seats mounted, radiator mocked in place, and started the tube work in the rear.
