Were not almighty, were just not stupid:rolleyes:

When its something as critical as what your asking theres no way in hell any of us would advise you to band aid fix it. This leaves way to much potential for you or someone else to get injured/

how are you gonna pick which corner gets the zero rate?
how do you know it's not 1/2" on each pin?

I would leave it alone.

Stupid? Lol most of the things I know is way over your head anyways

Make a list of things that can happen

If you can even make a list that I can't make a counter solution on it I won't do it

I'd put the zero rate on the side that is further back and rubbing more
Im sure your so much smarter than I am:rolleyes:

1. There is currently a problem-bent frame, damaged mounts? By not addressing the real issue your leaving yourself with an underlying problem which could continue to get worse or affect something esle.

2. Your front axle alignment throws your steering out of wack. If its out of square with the vechicle it will never drive straight, not even close.

3. Leaving you steering possibly f*d will only make it worse and is very unsafe...

If the truck is THAT BAD that its not worth a couple hundred to fix correctly then its not worth to build up at all.

If you cant comprehend that patching together a vehicles suspension, especially a front end that affects the steering is a BAD IDEA then yes, by all means-drink the koolaid:rolleyes:

How does it affect steering at all

The axle could be at a 30* angle and you could still make it run straight. It would turn one way better lol

it would definatly effect your alignment angles

Sounds like you had your mind made up before you started the thread. Have at it!

You say you only drive it offroad? How do you get it there? Tow it with your Vette? Come on you can obviously see there is something seriously wrong since you say your so smart so why are you being a retard about fixing it. I hope you don't let any others ride in that thing. :yikes: :screwy:

If it's moved back 2 inches it should be pretty damn obvious where the breakage or bends are. 2 inches is alot!!!!!!

You should just slap your snap on beadlocks on there there should fix everything.:waytogo: :surepal:

I don't drive it anywhere besides off road

It's a POS

I'm not going to waste money fixing the frame

If I wanted it fixed I would just buy a different truck

You have this on a trailer? Why do you think it's OK to put everyone else at risk by covering up the real issue? Let's put this another way...You can be held criminaly liable if you hurt someone with this jacked up idea.

Here's another idea, strap the side that's 2" back to a chain and tree and and back up real fast, that should straighten the frame. It is just as effective as placing uneven strain on the suspension, asking for things to break leaving your ass stranded on a trail, probably blocking it a way that focks everyone else. Followed up with a post next week asking now what...

The advice your getting is from VERY experienced people.

If you want to take the chance on being a prision beaotch, by all means, carry on. Don't drop the soap...

Come on...

So experienced with no suggestions on how to fix it

I was also think about the tree thing. I may just have to try it

Uneven strain? Not really

It will never get over 40 mph on the street anyways

I guess I'll just leave it with a crocked front axle. It's been fine for years

Ummm...Are you broken? Did you miss the posts above? Is this a poll and I missed it? WTF MAN!!!!! You were given suggestions and snubbed your nose at it. Here's my suggestion: Follow the advice already given.

STRAIGHTEN THE F'N FRAME. FIND OUT WHY IT'S NOT STRAIGHT.

Oh also the front passenger side frame rail is ripped on the top right by the foot well in the engine compartment. The rail is also a bit twisted

It's definately the frame
Broken frame? Broken behind the rear axle mount/hanger or in front? pics?
