Local auction. got it for $825 1992 Crown Vic X-police ( '92 P-72 package = P71 '93-up)
121K on body and running gear 53K on motor just installed by city garage (I know the mechanic)
Factory duals, I put on flowmasters... Cop Shocks, and HD frame and suspension. Steering cooler, Oil Cooler, Trans Cooler, stock.
Purrs like a kitten, handles like a much smaller car, tight. (has it's rattles though!!)
A little beat up, but what a blast, for under a grand! These 4.6's are battle proven, not the beast like the 94-96 caprice LT1's, but hey, for under a grand... what a bang for the buck, and lots of aftermarket parts if I feel froggy...
