Want an On Board Air System for $25??? :-)

Harry, I know the box says 72 lpm, can you take a look at the spec tag on the unit itself and see if it also says 72 lpm. I saw one that showed 72 on the box but the spec tag on the actual compressor said 50. Does your also say 50 on the unit???

Mine says 72L/m on the spec tag attached to the end of the compressor. :cool1:

Very interesting, Have you seen there Q89 twin comppessor
look like Q-Industries is trying to control the retail pricing
this time around. And A 1 yr. warrenty.

When I talked to them a while back, they were testing that one. I run 2 of the single ones anyway, and if one should poop out, I still have one to do the job.

Update

These were fairly hot items when this thread started and I noticed they were in staock and regularly priced at $29.99 at Poop Boys, its the unit in the picture (borrowed the image from http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=54907&highlight=air+compressor)

My local Poop Boys had 3 on the shelf last night when I was there.

Are ya sure that it was that exact model? The same company makes a VERY similar one that only puts out about half the volume. I've seen it at Pep Boys for around $30, but not the 72 LPM model. :(

It was the 1050 model at the Pep Boys I was at, even confirmed the model on the price tag on the shelf. Call your local shop and ax 'em if they have any.

I think the same thing might have happen when they first came out, there was some confusion on the price, sometimes in our favor. Shop around.:D

The box also says 72 lpm.

Good find, I'm sure theres a few who didn't get any, that might have a chance now. :thumb:

I have one of the ones from Pepboys and if I remember correctly when I bought mine there were a few different models. I just bought the one that had the most output. For the money it has served me well. I used it quite a bit from airing up to filling portable tanks. Even filled a tank for a guy to run his ARB's. Had mine for almost a year.
