Here's pics of mine going on, and after the lift.

This is after I put on the 4" lift kit. You can see that the arrival angle would only become an issue on extremely steep hills, but you DO have to remember you are 14" longer then before when you park.

I'm working on a hi-jack mount to sit on top slightly behind the winch so I can get the thing out of the truck - the noise is making me crazy! Let me know what you would like me to measure and I'll get it posted.

The bumper could be tucked in closer for most winches but the 8274's height prevents that. I should have the winch mounted this weekend and Ill post more pics.

Belive me i would love to but sadly i only have cash, no paypal, bank cards, credit cards, checks, ect.

One day i might go get a Visa Gift card(or mastercard cant remember) with $25 on it

You can buy a money order with your cash and send it in. I'm not trying to push you into it - just letting you know there is another option if your serious. ;)

Anybody got pictures of their side support rails or what you did to tie the outer ends of the bumper to the frame to prevent movement? The 1/8" top plates stiffens it up some but not enough for me :(

Heres what the bumper, 8274 winch and dual battery setup looks like

You can box your stock bumper braces with very little effort.

Here's the photos of the stock bumper brackets modded to support the ends of the bumper. I bent the frame end of the bracket in a tubing press until the holes lined up on both ends, then tacked on the 1 1/2 square tubing to act as a spacer.

Have not yet challenged any large trees to test the integrity:p:

Thanks for the pics. I dont have the bumper mounts so couldnt figure out how it attached. Plus, my bumper is about 1" farther out than normal due to the adaptor brackets.

Cricket, sorry im not quite sure what you mean by boxing them.

I was thinking about cutting the stock mounts down to where they bolt to the frame and weld some 1 1/4 dia thick walled steel pipe from there up to the bumper. Figured there has to be a simpler way.

Thanks!

Looks Awsome.
How do you wire up dual batterys? i was thinking about doing dual battery in my truck

I did a simple Isolator setup.

The main battery ties into a smart 150A relay isolator then fed over to the other side of the truck and connected to the battery. All the battery, engine ground and starter cables are 2 gauge. From the aux. battery to the winch, I used 4 feet of 1 gauge cable.
Theres more information on my installation on my webpage towards the bottom.

Heres a pic of the main batt and Isolator with feeder going over to other battery in above pic.

for some weird reason i thought you could only get em' used.

I am lookinf at warns website but i cant find prices

What do those Warn 8274's Usualy run?
wow your truck really has changed.

You can find them used on eBay for $450-$600 range. New are around $1100

Yea, the truck has changed. It all started with that damn tire rack.
Take my advise. Heres a good rule to live by when playing with these trucks.

1) Estimate how much its going to cost to make each mod and how long it will take.

2) Times that by 3

3) Be happy if your within $100 bucks
