We had a db crash

Well, in my alternate reality there was a spammer I banned...and after looking around I can't find any record of that in the mod area. My theory is this particular spammer caused a rip in the fabric of reality that triggered the DB crash and swallowed a chunk of last night. Kinda like a spammer black hole...

Although oddly, the forum time is now running about 10 minutes ahead of what my atomic clock and Verizon say.
 
So based on the possibility that there could possibly be alternate realities,,, there might be even more levels of deja-vu that have not been discovered yet!!! UH-OH!!
You guys are definitely entertaining! And Thank You to the Mods.

That isn't that new...someone else noticed that a week or so ago. For whatever reason CK5 timestamps about 10 minutes ahead of the correct time lately. Not sure if it's related to the crash in any way or not.

Any and all thanks should go to Steve on this one. He is the tech guru/software whiz kid/fixer of the site (and the boss) Us mods just abuse our powers try to keep the place in order. :D

place is down for ten hours and i get my k5 legally running and driving, hate to think if this place was down for a week :haha:

Yes, I had a couple of threads going that are completely gone... When I go back to the email notifications and click the links they send me to some totally random threads I've never even seen before. I think we lost a few days worth of stuff... Oh well, now I can start new threads on the problems and I'll look more knowledgable than in the originals!!!

No kidding! If I didn't have anythiin to do in the.afternoon like enjoy CK5 . I would probably have to finish my truck just to keep busy.

You think you got it bad? Most of you folks have seen each other, spoken to at least one or the other on the phone and have phone numbers.
Or know each others names.

The only person I ever spoke to was Boggerless, and he called me. I didn't get his number.
If K5 went away, there is absolutely no one I could call or check in with to find out whats going on.

It was a weird feeling knowing that there are a bunch of people out there that I could call friends, that were totally inaccessible to me.
Not that I would necessarily want get up with them, you understand.
 
At first i figured you guys finally banned me :haha: , Until i actually read what it was saying about the database error and realized ck5 just crashed :D .
 
I think Boggerless should be/is the unofficial official CK5 operator/411 guy...:waytogo:
