Well Im at it again..............

They look like the Procar brand from SCAT. Link to the site, but they sell them from Jegs also, and apparantly summit.

Thats them, really comfortable too. I got them from Summit, but cant find them in the low backs on there site now?

I really couldnt beat the price, especially having to buy some factory seats with good foam and then be re-covered.

Well here are some up to date pics of progress around here. Got a nice back seat finally thanks to ScottishDave! It was originally brown, but I dyed it black, got the interior all cleaned up and put back together.

All the original carpet strips you see are usually crap, So I ended up finding a nice stainless piece at a yard sale for $3 that was meant to install on the front part of the bed, up by the cab. For the rear I used a 60-66 wood bed strip out of LMC. I also got a new Spid label made for the glovebox door.

I was hoping to have the Jimmy all put together and sold by now, but life happens and Murphy always shows up. So I am now gonna have to deal with getting the hard top back into shape.

I also painted the lockouts for the hubs as well, since they were a nasty looking yellow.

I also started the body work on the 67' again so that I can get it repainted and eventually sold.

what kind of bed liner do you use for the inside and how hard is it to spary?

It is Als Liner and is extremely user friendly. I have shot over 20 gallons of it so far and really like the stuff. I am gonna be spraying the hard top with it as well.

On that note, what do you guys suggest? white or gloss black hard top?

So your selling the jimmy and the longbox??? man I love that thing!

White...then it'll also match the new SPID label you just got.

Seats cleaned up nice, Good enough to rate some Itrader feedback I think:whistle:

Ha Ha....Glad that they worked out. Hope the mess caused by having to drill that screw out wasnt too bad.

lol I R confused with the I trader, I got the message on my phone and then forgot about it. I will look at it again.

As far as the screw went, I couldnt find it:confused:, it is solid though so Im not gonna worry about it.

There are two? screws on each side that should attach the top to the bottom. On the one side there should be a tear made in the fabric to access the hole, and some evidence of drilling, ha ha. I saved the threads though, so you might not have noticed.

What did you do to dye the seat? Looks real good.

I forget the name of the stuff, I got it at the paint shop for $14 a can:eek1: It is a little more glossy than I would have liked, but it matches a whole lot better than the brown.:haha:

Last night I had to adjust the hydro clutch as well, the slave cylinder rod was too long, so It wouldnt disengage the clutch all the way. I also noticed that I had a sparatic miss. I threw on the closest pair of gloves on, leather on the fingers and palm with strechy fabric on the back of the hand. I got zapped a good 5 times before I pulled away. Haha, I am an electrician by trade and i dont think that 120v hurts that bad!
