Sorry to hear about that. I am positive this will be a good thing for you though. Many of us would love to do this full time and quit our "day jobs" but I understand preperation is key. I do agree, we have a bunch of people on the site who have been here a long time and are not members yet. I do think you are doing a good service for us with landing Specialty Tops and others. Did S&W racecars ever get in touch with you about the membership program? I could call them again for you. Stay in touch.

Sorry to hear that. The industry I'm in is on a downturn right now, also. Right now I've parked my truck to save on gas, and do a load of much needed mods to it, so when you get the store goin', I'm there! Anything I can do to help.

That really sucks. I've made it through two quarters of layoffs around here and if it keeps up, I'm throwing in the towel and opening a 4x4 shop. At least you had a backup plan in the works. I hope CK5 really takes off.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Seems like more and more guys are getting laid off while the pundits claim the economy is improving. My income sucks too. While not exactly laid off, I only get paid work about 40-60 hours a month now. That's why my truck is progressing so slowly and budget oriented.

I feel your pain, i've been living off my severance since Feb 1st and its almost gone. Time for me to panic. At least you have something fun to keep you busy, i'm bored out of my mind, i would work on the truck but how can i put money into something when im worried about paying the rent, Hope you find something soon, and like the others, as soon as i can afford it, i'll be buying a few things from the store.
