what 8 inch lift

I would stay away from Rough Country. I had an 8 inch lift on my blazer and it was rough to say the least. I switched to a tuff country an haven't looked back. I would also recommend crossover steering which is next in line for me.

well the first thing i plan to do is rock logic hydro steering assist with high steer ... i always do the pitmen arms steering blocks and drag links... just habbit there.... i plan to gear the 1 ton axles and build them before i put them in... im sure ill probily go with 513s

I am running 4.56 gears and am pulling 13-14mpgs out of it with 4.56s and has plenty of power to pass at 70mph, anything over 85 is out of the question with the bias 39.5x18 boggers. If you drive it on the street mostly or 50mph plus i would recomend the 4.56s if off road mostly, go with the 5.13s

I dd mine to work everyday and around town, the ride dosent bother me too much, you just learn to deal with it.

I broke 3 leafs of my 8 inch superlift springs. It still sat level though.

if you run hi-steer with hydro expect to spend the money on Dedenbear knuckles. or you will end up with this.

i think bds has the best aftermarket springs, don't start sagging and lose lift as bad as others i've seen or had any dealings with
tc springs lost a good inch when i put winch and bumper on, swapped to bds about 5 yrs ago and they still have all the arch in them.
when i do rear shackle reversal, takin out the saggin 8'' tc rear and going back with 4'' bds springs. the tc's were level when i swapped the front, but over the last 5 yrs my rear sits lower than the front now, enough that its real obvious.

bds is the best warrity company i hhave ever dealt with.. when their sprigns sag you can take them back and they will replace them as well... i highyl recomend them to anyone and the fact that michigan econemy sucks as well that will help the state and company out
