Well, I don't have it, but my dad does.

It's obviously for a round pattern transmission, and it was marked by the seller (swap meet) as NV4500 to 205 for a Chev.

However, I have an issue with that. For one, there is no hole for the shifter on the passenger side of the adapter. On the drivers side are two holes that appear to be right if the shifter was on the drivers side. One or the other looks useable.

On the adapter to transmission flange, there is a cutout on what would be the passenger side of the bolt pattern, it looks as if it would be to clear something. But since the GM adapters aren't "clearanced" the same way, I'm not sure what that is for.

Anyone got any ideas? I suspect some drivers side driveshaft application, but I have no experience with anything but passenger side GM stuff.

Not looking to sell it unless it is not what it was advertised as.

Doesn't look to me like it's the right piece for a 4550 to Chev 205, but we'll see. He said he'll get pictures soon.

That part number doesn't look like an AA number as far as I can tell.

I am also trying to come up with an adapter to mate the NV4500 I have to my round style NP205. However, the bolt pattern on the back of my NV4500 is the same 6-bolt battern as the front of the 205; as if they would bolt directly to the same patters if I had a simple spacer that was clearanced for the shifter. It looks like that adapter has two different diameter patters on it. Unless you unbolted the NV4500 tailhousing and that bolted up after that, but that doesn't seem like it ould work either.

The perfectly round 6-bolt end does look like a round style NP205 pattern on that adapter; just the other end doesn't look familiar.

No 4500 around to compare it to, so I'm just not sure.

Perhaps thats what you get for trusting a seller at a swap meet? :)
