What am I doing wrong?

I have not messed with any other bushings yet. I did put frame stands under the front corners to get the fenders sitting right. By right, I mean the gap between fender and door was even.

As mentioned put in at least the forward most cab body mounts, even if it is temporary. Just like the fender alignment, a little additional height will be magnified up at the front. The ones in there now might look okay but get them to the correct height first, you know … solid foundation sort of thing and then build from there.

Is that a 81-91 core? I just looked at my 80 and its different.

Yes everything was fine before. Long story short, the bottom of my old one was rusted out. I was pulling the engine for a freshen up, oil pan wouldn't clear, I knew I had a new one just waiting so I cut the top middle chunk out of core support.
Not only no frame damage, it has a tubular subframe front to back that took ALL the frame flex away.

Looks like the fender to door gap in this picture shows you need to lift the front edge of the fender up to get it straight again but don’t know when this picture was taken relative to the new bushings.

On my last truck I gained nearly half an inch putting all new bushings in.

Yeah the wasn't anything supporting the front of the fenders in this pic. I added frame stands since then to even it up. I guess I need to go ahead and swap the rest of the bushings and see where it sits then.

It grew like a kid lol. Got it bone stock 20ish years ago. I kept feeding it and here we are

Update. I bolted the core support to the fenders and there is zero room for bushing. Door gap says drop it lower

I did not install other bushings yet. Not gonna lie, my focus is getting the engine fired back off and I need the radiator mounted to do that. We're gonna build fender exit headers too, so I need to get all that shizz installed so we know where to run tubes. I'll go back and do the rest of the bushings at the tail end of things.

But if the bushing in the front of the cab are sagging more than the rear it’ll cause the front end to tilt downward causing your problem.
