What Axle Should I Go With?

Good, question, on that Ford axle I wouldn't know, maybe stick with the coils and link setup. But on mine I'd go with a 4" spring which would net me about the right amount of lift for what I'm going for.

I was thinking, like JJ said, and use coils and radius arms, or some sort of link setup. If leafs are desired use a d44 from a 3/4 ford, and swap the outers over to 6 lug.

Let's not forget that front end is notorious for falling out of alignment with any sort of lift on it. So that's one more reason for a SAS.

I've had a hard time keeping the stock suspension aligned.

99-up gm style lift kits its best to use the knuckle lift as the upper control arm dosnt get moved and still uses stock alignment components.

yes all the ifs lifts with drop brackets for upper a-arms and new alignment points SUCK to keep in alignment.

in my opinion anything more than a mall crawler should get a real beefy big money kit or just sas it with leafs / coils / radius arm / anything better than ifs .

Building radius arms is easy only take some square tube and plate. I would do radius arms and coils

And in my case, the driver side cv shaft is going and the front differential needs to be rebuilt, as the driver side bearing is shot. As well as all the bushings and ball joints. In all I'm looking at a complete rebuild along with a lift, which will cost more than an axle swap, even a one ton swap, and that's why I'm going for it.
