What color should i paint my shaft?

Rebuilding my front drive shaft. What color should I paint it?

8 dollar can of gray makes it look like an 800 dollar high angle shaft.

I like Dupli-color semi-gloss black engine paint with ceramic. I paint everything on the chassis with it.

Okay guys, I stopped on my way to work and picked up the last part I needed and a can of paint....

Sand blasted and primed




Now my intention was to go with more of a gray to give it that $$$ look.

I chose the color aluminum because weight reduction




Well.... not really what I was expecting.
But



If the paint is dry enough I will try and get it reassembled. Then likely shoot a touch up coat after its installed.

i am lucky . my local in town driveline shop charges 5 bucks extra to install the u-joints and c/v ball kit if you buy from him .
