Re: Where or what....to find 63\" springs? mine were stolen

mine are roughly 2.5" longer then stock. (gains a 1.25" lift) plus the ORD flip.

Re: Where or what....to find 63\" springs? mine were stolen

seventy,
you will want the springf rear to be roughly behind the hanger, that will aloow you to have plenty of drop. and remember that when you do a flip, you will always extend the driveline when you flex up or down,(meaning youll pull it away from the tranny, instead of a non flip which always compresses it into the tranny /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif)
reason: the front hanger serves as a teeter point that is lower than the tranny yoke /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif so make sure you aint livin on 1" of spline, i learned that the hard way /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif it fell out flexin /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have my driveline extended and have between 3 and 4 inches in the SY. (I am planning on a SYE) So I will basically want the 63 inch spring to look like the 52 inch spring. So to do this I have to move my shackle mounts front and rear to give me a total of an additional 8 - 10 inchesbetween them right? Or am I totally lost? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Re: Where or what....to find 63\" springs? mine were stolen

thats correct.

if you aren't afraid to trim I'd push the axle back some. also if you are planning a SYE you'll need a new shaft anyways.

What is the stock spring length for the front?
