Attempting to do this on the trail would be very tough with a 31 gallon tank....I have been tempted to cut an access hole in the cabin.

You have seen my packing write up haven't you? I carry junk like spare alternators and as long as I don't snap the housing, carrier or Ring and pinion I carry enough parts to put the axles back together. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

WTF DID YOU EXPECT????? K5s are fullsize rigs to begin with, and then folks go and lift them and put big tires under them. C'mon....if the width and height is such a piss-off, why are some of you guys on your 2nd and 3rd Blazer??? If a small body is better, Suzuki makes a wee little truck called a Sidekick. Or maybe you guys could convince a lift company to start making a kit for Chev Sprints...... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yea Grimmy, I saw your list (it was extremely helpful BTW), and put a lot of that stuff in mine - just not the axle stuff. But because I haven't the faintest idea what I'm doing most of the time I also need enough survival gear to keep myself alive until somebody like you shows up to fix whatever's wrong! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif One of these days I'll post that list.

I still want the K/5 look,just a little narrower.....AND THE FACT THAT IT IS STILL A CHEVY!!Lift.yeah it's got a 4" lift with 38's!I don't mind using my sawzall on my K/5!!We are all family,just some of us are little more twisted than others!!Mike
