possible cab swap from a later model?? or maybe a lockup trans from a PO??
Anyone know where i can get the nuclear reactor to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity??. Without that i can't plug it in.

It's possible someone wired it in but idk why. I'll check further when i get out to my dad's today. Trace the wire or somethingRandy, there is no way that is stock to an 80 Chevy. Those plugs don't exist on the 80 models, so either it was added by a PO, or it got snagged on something and dragged under the truck. There is no weatherpack connectors on the 1980 models, although there are times I wish there were.

It has one of those already hooked up to a spade type connector sending unit in the head. I'll take pics tomorrow if it helpsThe only single green wire i know of is for the temp sender. GM did use some weatherpack style temp senders.
I put it on right the first time and looking at it i thought, "That isn't right." then changed it to wrong. I've only done this a hundred times but i guess i was rushing to get it done.
sooo i had to go back down there and get the right 3/8" inch tranny cooler line. Everything worked smooth but the stall converter just doesn't work well with the tired 350 i already had in there.
After i buy a set of 64"s of courseI thought so. I remember my 87 had the 208 and it had the lighted shifter thing but wasn't sure about the older ones. Never paid attention to my other trucks. I know where 2hi 4hi and 4lo are anyhow so never even lookThere isn't a bezel on these Randy. Just a shift boot and ring to hold the boot down. Unlike newer versions that had a bezel down there, this year just used a marked shifter knob to indicate how to shift into the different 4x4 modes.
Cut it off and throw it away. That's where mine belongs. It apparently doesn't help **** so I don't need itso then were does my extra plug go that looks just like his go? if i already have the one that is pluged in that comes the shifter and plugges into the top of the transfer case?

That I couldn't tell you, I have never seen that plug on my 80. I know that my plug to the transfer case is in place, and I get the dash light when I am in 4x4. I will look around my 80 and see if it is there, but in all the times I have been under there, I have never seen any plugs like that.so then were does my extra plug go that looks just like his go? if i already have the one that is pluged in that comes the shifter and plugges into the top of the transfer case?
