just filled mine up... dont have a feul gauge atm so ive been guessin... it looks liek im only getting less than 15... going witht he fact that i only got around 500 miles wiht 32 gallons. just wanting to see if anyone is getting any better than that or if thats about right.

Freeway you should be seeing 20-22, in town 15-16 sounds about right.

I dunno. I have a screwed up fuel guage and no speedo. When it gets a little under half a tank I fill er up. I know it is better that the 6mpg I get in the BB Furd I have.

w/ 6.2/465/205/4.10s on 35's, i get 20 mpg on the highway. not bad for no overdrive!

6.2/th400/4.10's/35's... i get around 18-20 almost all highway, very little in town driving. my speedo is way off so i just compare what my truck gets for roughly the same amount of driving. the 6.2 gets better mileage than my 04 super duty dually with the 6.0 diesel.

my 6.2/700r4/208 doesnt seem to get good mpg either, its got 3.08s and 35s. any way to fix this without regearing?

mine gets..

My 82 K20 6.2/TH400 gets about 15-17 around town, dont use it much on the highway so I cant say what the mileage is on longer trips at higher speeds..

I think I'm getting less MPG than when I first got it..not sure why, probably letting it sit most of this year didn't help the injectors any..might be related to my transfer case refusing to shift into 2HI,I have to leave the hubs unlocked, the front shaft always gets power regardless of what range I put the T-case in..more drag= less MPG..:(

I'm not sure what gear ratio it has, probably 4.10's..it feels like it could use an overdrive after 55 mph..but it gets about the same or better milage as my 79 C10 with a 305 did, just wish diesel wasn't 50 cents a gallon
more than gasoline costs! --not a good time for me to have sold my gas powered truck I guess..:doah:

im runnin the 6.2/700r4 with stock gearing and 33s... my trans is SLIPPPPIIINNNGGGG badly and im thinking that that may have a bit to do with it. i also drive more freeway than in town... 55-65 mph range... well i think ill be gettin a tranny rebuild soon so well see if that helps any

6.2 turbo, th400, 3.42 gears, 31.5 khumos, have gotten 16-17, but recently its been getting 13-14. just checked the trans fluid and it was 1.5 quarts low. we'll see what it gets when the 4l80 goes in soon. also getting ready to drop in a 4.10 rear, as the 3.42 is bent.
