On my truggy I run turbo mufflers , the exact same ones from my Chevelle . I am actually running the stock 307 duals from my Chevelle , with all four bends removed and two pieces of flex added .

Damn downpipes will clear a 73-87 floor and a np208

im running flotech headers, 2 1/4 inch true duals through flomaster 40 series. then out both sides behind the tires. no tips at all. real nice sound at lower rpms and not bad at all on the highway (4speed with no carpet and turning 2800rpm at 65) when its in the higher rpm like 3000 it sounds like a stock car, very nice lots of complements when i go racing by

only thing i would change is im debating putting tips on because it will deepen the sound a little at lower rpms.

I've got a 3" in/out flowmaster, no cat, and 3" exhaust from the crappy y pipe back. Sounds good, drones a bit but I am used to it. I do want something with a little more of a rumble to it, but otherwise it's good.

It already sets off most car alarms idling through the parking lot at work.. just a little more and it would be perfect...

Magnaflow is the only muffler I will use anymore. I started with Flows about 15 years ago and really liked them. The interior drone got on my nerves fast though. Over the years, I have tried them all....Flowmaster, Borla, Dynomax (Ultra Flows), Spintech, Mac, and Ravin. Overall, I just prefer the sound and performance of the Magnaflow the most.
Amen! Had a Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flow on my '92 K1500 Blazer with a 350 and it sounded great but it sure seemed like every yokel at home with a Z71 had the same exhaust.

Depends where you buy them ;)

I will also add that I have had Flows rot out, on two different vehicles, in the past.
I noticed a few years ago that it was funny you could buy a stainless Magnaflow for what a regular Flowmaster cost...and the Magnaflow is straight through without any of the baffles or chambers to restrict flow.

I voted Cherry Bomb as you didn't have Magnaflow on there. I've had Magnaflow's on two vehicles in the past and loved them. Ended up with different loudness results though. On my 4.0L V6 Ranger it wasn't all that loud or obnoxious and was just a nice, deep, revvvv sound. Sorta like a nice sounding Euro tuner car. On our 2.5L V6 Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV it was a bit loud and droning at higher speeds. For that reason I'm currently debating what to do with our current Suzuki XL7.

Right now I run Cherry Bombs on Big Ugly and my Tracker. Genuine Maremont brand. You can get them for stupid cheap at AutoZone and they're as straight through as you can get!

i have vortex (flowmaster look a like) 3inch on my 83 short bed with a 358..13:1, they sound good but loud..and dump on a 45 behind the bumper.... my m1008 has flowmaster 40 series 2.5 duals behind each tire, that sounds good like a 350 going up the highway but like a loud 6.2 at idle....both no cats.

Long tube headers, 2 1/4 true dual, into 3inch glasspacks with turndowns right before rear axle. sounds like a macktruck had sex with a slingshot dragster! i love it car alarms dont.

I run a sbc with headers into 2.5 inch 40 series Flowmasters with no cats on my 85 blazer with a 4 speed I like it ,my neighbors not so much .
