I run dual 3" Edelbrocks w/ longtubes and dumps before the axle. I decided to try it because nobody I know runs them.. They sound way better that Flowmaster IMO.:D

Magnaflow is the only muffler I will use anymore. I started with Flows about 15 years ago and really liked them. The interior drone got on my nerves fast though. Over the years, I have tried them all....Flowmaster, Borla, Dynomax (Ultra Flows), Spintech, Mac, and Ravin. Overall, I just prefer the sound and performance of the Magnaflow the most.

I enjoy preserving my hearing and thus am running dual 2.5" Flowmaster 70's. The large case helps keep noise down.

magnaflow. not too expensive i think i had one put on localy at a muffler shop for $100 bucks sound is great not interier drone....

What is this "muffler" you speak of?:p:

No seriously, I've got some generic brand turbo mufflers on the wife's Burb that sound really good. I shortened up the exhaust so it sounds better that the stock out the back setup. The camo Burb is runnin cheap glasspacks and they are just about irritating. They are a few years old, I might go with Cherry Bombs on the next go around.:D

I run a single flowmaster on my k10 as well as on my k3500... my sister's truck (C2500 with a big block) runs true dual from the headers back with flowmasters and it sounds incredible BUT the drone at highway speeds is almost more than we can take so next time she's back in California I think we're going to swap out to a mellower setup...

Ya the Edelbrock are not great for hiway drone, its pretty loud. But the sound, Aw man I have never heard a better sounding exhaust. Of course the 454 helps.

I just got a Thrush dual chamber muffler for the trail rig. Not hooked up yet but I will report back on the sound. The tow rig has dual flowmasters, not sure on series but I really like the sound

Im running thorley headers > 3" true dual > flowmaster 44's > 4"x24" tips turned out in front of the rear tires :eek1:

had 2 flow 40 delta flows on crewcab 350. fed via factory 2.5 duels. then 3" tails out the back. was real good but in the cab noise on highway.

thay rotted out and i picked up a good used 2in 2 out single flow 50 series. poped it in place and ran 2.5 tails out. much much better sound levels in cab on highway.

so i found another good used takeoff on ebay. 50 delta 3" inlet and outlet. grabed it shipped for 37 bucks shipped. this will be going on the plow truck soon to get rid of the 40 delta on it now.

no more 40 flows for me in my trucks needs .

The '75 'burb has true duals with Cherry Bomb flat mufflers, (not glasspacks),turned out in front of the rear tires. The '90 'burb has a single in dual out Flowmaster clone. I don't know what brand it is, but it looks identical to a Flowmaster but not as loud.
