What NOS GM parts do you have stashed away for 73-91 K5 builds?

Well, for some reason I got the itch this afternoon to go out in the humidity and search the garage over for old parts - I did find some cool parts but there are more boxes to find that will have to wait until the air is not so damn thick.

Had to clean off the Cozmolene (sp?) on the Spicer chrome but most other parts are still greasy or coated - the Spicer dials are dusty and there are a few used sets mixed in there too.
I did find a few cans of R12 in one of those boxes - does that count as NOS ?
There kind of hard to see in the sealed plastic bags but on the Mac Tools catalog there are three sets of D60/70 main carrier cap stud kits - not OEM but fairly cool parts upgrade.
Also you can see that there are some of the axle splined hub couplers that are 35-spline instead of 30-spline like the rest.
On one of the pics you can see the order date was back in 2001 with my name on the sticker. It was a good thing that I had buddies at a Chevy dealer getting me parts at cost plus 10% because I got a whole bunch of parts all through the nineties and early two-thousand’s.
As for the yellow Spicer knobs I think I got those from Dana/Spicer and not GM when they were purging all the old stuff.
The rest is just stuff that was n those boxes - it was too damn hot to keep on digging out stored boxes so one day more to come…

Currently rebuilding an np205 and waiting to install cucv one tone axels out of a m1008 military truck

I have a 73-75 (NP203) stock shifter arm and bezel NOS...a fuel sending unit in the box for dual tank (didn't know that when I bought it. A set of interior bed panels that are red and for what appears to be a 1976 and later. The bed panels had the GM plastic on them, but I didn't have sense enough to save that or I just can't find it. I've had a lot of interest in those but the shipping is insane because they are "over-sized".

They get this chalky surface from the breakdown of the plastic id guess. Happens FAST. Even with a heat gun to bring it back, it is not as good as original.

Yeah those fade and flake the coating off in a few years too down here. Ain’t nothing safe.

That is why I prefer the Warn with the metal turn dials
I like the WARNs for easy usage but they just do not compare to SPICER hubs in the strength department - even the premium versions.

I've blown out WARNs with an open front diff ( granted it was major abuse happening and a very heavy truck....) but Spicer's never seem to give breakage issues locked or open - but damn they are a PITA with any traction aid in the front diff ; gotta be easy on them soon to be faded dials ( the reason why I initially stocked up on them ).

I'm not say'n that the WARN's are weak, not at all - they just ain't Spicer hub strong ( come to think of it I just might be a little biased...)

need some NOS t case mount bolt lock tabs. Who's holding ???

I'll check some of the other boxes I recently unearthed out of the garage - working many hours this week so give me a little time.
At one point I recall getting several of these from GM but that was many moons ago and Lord only knows if they are still there - but I will check for ya' .

One day I might need them. lol

The same reason I’ve never cut those doors for the full top, they’re so nice I dream about putting them on a clean daily driver crew cab some day (before I age out).
