just rent a dumpster and put them in there and cover all tires with trash and haul away. There 100$ around here and at 4$ per tire x 40+ tires thats a lot of cash (160). Plus no dismount time for the rims ($), throw those away also. Thats what ive done in the past and it works well if you have a friend with trash to help pitch in on the dumpster. DAMN, i thought my 18 rims and tires was a lot holy cow man 40 or so is out of hand. If there all swampers then good luck, they wont fit. lol.
They do NOT pay a disposal fee - other than what it costs them to take the truckload to the recycling facility. Local tire shops get the same deal. IMO, you are only really pissing off a tire shop if you are dumping tire/wheels that need to be broken down.
