I've been dreading going out and cleaning the rust off my front leaves and painting them. Even though it's the one thing that is holding me up on the rest of the build.

How about you guys?:whistle::whistle:

overhauling a vacuum system that I never had
installing a distributor with no help or prior experience
installing carb, linkages, TV cable with no prior experience
priming engine, starting engine, breaking in cam, w/ no experience
putting that plastic shielding on some of my new wiring
cleaning glue off the back wheel wells from carpet

roll cage. I need one, have the money to do so, and havent bit the bullet to get it done...

Anything under the hood, and i only have a 4" lift on 35's, i can't imagine anything taller. I guess if i had some sort of step stool that would stay put while leaning over the fenders while working on the engine, it wouldn't be so bad, everything wants to slide out from under my feet though....annoying.

4xcrzy: I have this, no you can't have it, and good luck finding one. Home Depot at least doesn't carry them anymore. $88 new

About 3 feet tall, 3 feet wide, and sturdy
other good option, back another truck up to the front with tailgate down :)

just generall maintance kills me, im always putting it off lol. id rather swap axles or put a lift on than change my own oil haha

I am NOT looking forward to changing my ball joints :(

Everything else has been easy & OK, but the ball joints... ugh!

I'll have to say that is one of the suckiest things to do on our Blazers...it's so easy on my 2 wheel drive truck, but there is so much to take apart on a 4x4

Changing the fuel pump in my Suburban. Just the thought of dropping the tank, (that is filled to the brim), makes me whimper and whine and act like my 2 year old.

I told my wife once, parts stores sell parts, I just wish they sold motivation.

Anything under/inside the dash. Its hard to get up in there. it was a pain redoing my headliner in the burb by yourself. Installing a steering box by yourself sucks also.

Croosover steering, because of all the things involved and the cash needed.

Rebuild the t-case..never done it before.

changing glow plugs on a turbo 6.2 diesel.
There are a few you need a miracle to get to.
Everything else has been a breeze, and I have done just about everything on these trucks.

Auto Tranny swaps I hate it

Just swapped out an auto trans in 6 hours the other night. And i played around on the go kart after dropping the first one out as a celebration.

Turns out the new one needed a 3-4 clutch pack..

Never know til its in though..
