I have an old 1999 Lexus ES300, with 240K miles, but is still going strong. I go back and forth between it and the Blazer.

My black 78 2wd Blazer with a TPI is my DD. I used to do 50-60k a year on it for the last 3 years but now my commute is 2.5 miles one way.

97 civic lx 4 door 5 speed 216k paid $600 and it's decent body just faded paint. Added Acura Intrega wheels.

Also 95 civic ex 4 door 5 speed 1.6 Vtech motor with 4 wheel disc brakes,ABS and sunroof but selling it shortly.

My 83 is my DD. Daily therapy. Helps me keep my sanity.... Well whts left anyway.

E250 service van, provided by employer including gas card.

My '77 was the DD from '96-'11

Dd is an 85 gmc shortbed with 3/4 tons and 33s. Has 5.3 vortec, averages 15-16 mpg.

I also have an 06 2500hd but my 85 gets better mileage so I rarely drive it. Bought it thinking it would be nice having a newer truck but I'd rather drive my old Junkers.

Currently I'm trying to sell the 06 so I can put my 77 2wd together with a 5.3 and it will become my dd.

I washed it and the water combined with the Vegas heat apparently melted my springs. That is why I've never washed the 4wd 89.

01 civic. 42 mpg saving 300 a month for k5 parts. i put a new tranny in it and a bad ass sound system. but now its time to get the k5 good and reliable

My daily driver for the last 3 years has been my 1996 Impala SS. Before that it was my 1989 Blazer for 11 years.

Right now i daily a 97 civic. Its awful. The handling is atrocious, power is an embarrassment at best and i made the mistake of buying an auto, which is constantly hunting for the right gear the entire time im driving. To top it off it gets pretty weak gas mileage for a honda...maybe in the low 20s? I think thats due to having to put your foot through the floor to get it to move at a reasonable speed. Our watered down gas sure doesnt help.

I keep hoping i walk out from the store or school only to find its been stolen.

I was thinking of putting a blinking led light on the keys and leave them in the door so itll be gone after class.

My commute is a lot of tight curved roads. I had a miata before that, did a little suspension work to it and it would keep up with street bikes...obviously not on the straight. You literally never had to touch the brakes, just steer harder and you could snap right through the turns. I regret buying the honda after that.

Im tempted to go buy a c5 corvette soon though. The price is rock bottom right now. I keep seeing them in good condition with sub 100k miles for less than 13k. They get pretty good mileage for what they are and it would be a lot more fun to drive. A cam and better breathing is all it needs.

Company I work for provides money towards a car, the better the mileage the more the cash so I drive this most of the time.... Averages about 35mpg
