Ive been daily driving my truck for about 2 years, but now ive gotten where I want to do work to it where I cant drive it for a wile and at 8-9MPG(I know the loping SBC dosent help :D ) and gas at $2.50/ gallon. Ive decided to get a new DD. So what does everyone have?

I used to drive my blazer, or my '78 2wd stepside everyday. Now I have a 98 civic that I bought off my grandparents. As far as gas, I get between 32-38 MPG, I love that car. Yeah, Hondas are nice! So I drive any of those 3.

76 Blazer......or 78 LeSabre with a 403. 12 or 13 mpg, so it really doesn't matter. I will be driving the Buick when the temp gets >90 since it has A/C. I guess that will be next week..........

i drive an 01' dodge cummins everyday- it gets around 18-20 highway 15ish in town and it will drag around the toys too.

99 ram on 37" GY MT/Rs
i get around 7-8mpg around 13 on the hiway.

or i drive my wifes 05 Tahoe Z71. which gets better mileage and has more creature comforts.

I drive my crew cab (see sig) to work 6 days a week knockin' down a crispy 10 mpg. :cool1:

On crappy days I drive a 96 Jeep cherokee (2wd) 17-20mpg.
When it's not raining or freezing cold I ride my bike to work.
2004 Kawasaki KLR650 50-60mpg

I've got a '81 Datsun 720 pickup. Gets upper 20's for mileage, and can accomplish quite a bit of work too (more than it should). It's taken all the abuse I can dish out, and just won't quit. It's nice to have something that can still be used as a "work truck" and still get good mileage.

My DD is a CTD Dodge 4x4 ( 19 MPG ) and when/if it fails I crank up my most trusted and reliable Toyota p/u ( only 14 MPG ) which has never failed me.

I have a 305 98 chevy p/u. gets about 23 if i keep my foot out of the floor. Needs a tune up.

My daily driver..

Daily driven '72 K/5 for 6 years, 3 months, and counting..
9-10 MPG around town, 13 MPG freeway.

It's pretty dependable but if it breaks i hope my camaro is running or i beg my dad to borrow his truck for a couple days.
If gas keeps going up i might have to buy some little pos.

Used to be my '90 burb that got around 10mpg. Now that I'm at school it's a 1992 Dodge Spirit I picked up for $800. Get's around 25mpg.
