Whats your DD?

Recently got a '93 Probe GT (I know, a F*rd!), 2.5L V6 for $800. Gets good mileage, reliable, I know every previous owner, good shape, books for $2500, etc. Gotta have 2 vehicles!

got tired of putting 110 miles a day on the blazer, so I bought a Chevy Aveo last May. Low on options, only has air and the MP3 player....gets between 32-35 mpg. (4 cyl, 5 spd)

fixing to pay it off as soon as my tax refund comes in

1 year payoff not bad for a new car.

2001 Dodge Ram 4x4 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel. Completely loaded....heated leather, premium sound, auto, sport, etc...

When I put a wrench to the Suburban (which is quite often), I drive what was my wife's '00 Neon. It gets about 32mpg. Luckily I bought her a mini-van last summer so now we have an extra car.

Ive been considering buy a 98/99 there really fast and get good mpg but I dont know if I could drive a car everyday...

I daily drove my old V6 camaro that I had before my Z28 for 4 summers and 1 winter, and I will never DD an f-body again. I'm in the great white north and trying to rely on a car with that much torque, RWD and 4 inches of ground clearance as reliable year round transportation just doesn't work.

Drivin my K5, 88 350 TBI 700R4. Probably gettin about 12mpg overall on 33s. 2.73 helps on the hwy, but city sux. Doubt I would drive anything else though. I love the room.

wow, that is the first picture i have seen when it is not sitting at the truck lot. But then again, i think i have only seen one pic of your k5 sitting in the driveway a million times.

dd

Well since my 78' k5 tube bluggy on 39.5's would attract some attention from our Officer of the Law friends
and my 79' K20, 4 speed, 350 tow rig sucks down about 10-11 mpg

I found a cheap 93 Yj, 4cyl, 5 speed to DD
i think i get about 20 ish in it with 31's and stock gears
and it's makes a fun DD / streetable mild trail rig
(plus i bought it off a friends boss for 600 bucks, so how could i go wrong :D )

I do drive the k20 at times, but try to go with the jeep the most often for better fuel economy

I'd like to buy an older mechanical injected 96-ish Cummins Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 truck with a stick then sell the 79' k20 so i could tow my Bluggy AND get good fuel economy driving it to work, but thats a year or two down the road yet

(I wish GM built a Turbo diesel, 4x4, ext. cab, solid axle truck, ETC- i would so prefer that over a dodge or ford. Why is it my favorite vehicle brand is the only one that didn't keep the solid axle around in the heavy dutys :frown1: )

Sorry about your luck....I have tons of different pics.

Usually my Blazer. Until it's back on the road, it's either my Subaru or the jeep cherokee. Prefer the Blazer, though. :D

my wheeler is my daily driver untill the hot rod is done, sometimes I will drive my coroal though, and if both of thse decided to all stop running, then I have my "chvero-legs" to get me around lol

i use to drive my 79 shortbed dd but i rearended someone and decided to rebuild it.

so i picked up a 92 2wd s10 with a 2.8/5 speed. do know what it gets for mileage but it sure beats whatever a 400 hp 350 does
