He said sc3800.Yeah. It adds about 150 pounds. But they are light enough that adding a few hundred out front to balance it wouldn't be a big deal. An aluminum ls would be cool. 3800 would be fun too.
Dude, I couldn't put a case of beer under the hood of my Fiero. I'm not sure where one would stuff extra weight in under there. Maybe make a concrete casting of the space saver spare and bolt it in.Yeah. It adds about 150 pounds. I know. I didn't feel that typing the SC part again was necessary to show that I agree lol.He said sc3800.
That's supercharged 3.8
I just like to say it.I know. I didn't feel that typing the SC part again was necessary to show that I agree lol.

I have a couple 3.8 blowers laying around... would sell them if the right price came about...I just like to say it.
I would like to some day find a supercharger for the 3.8, I already have the crate engine. Then I need to figure where to put it.
I was planning on putting it in my 65 corvair coupe for a mid engine configuration but looks like I am getting it sold so...
See I am in your shoes I am looking for the dealI have a couple 3.8 blowers laying around... would sell them if the right price came about...

No one said it wouldn't be a deal .. I guess it depends on what you think is a deal?See I am in your shoes I am looking for the deal![]()
Never tried to look.No one said it wouldn't be a deal .. I guess it depends on what you think is a deal?
They don't go for much, about $150
What did you think they are worth?

Oh no. I've seen them on eBay for 150 and up. The cheapest one now is 259. I wouldn't be looking to get rich or a big payday, I was just meaning I wasn't going to sell for 10 bucks shipped just because it's only a 3.8 super.Never tried to look.
It's just the way you posted sounds like you were getting ready for a big pay day
Let's talk about this.
I only have a long block crate engine.
I will take it to pm

I'll tell you from your last post, if you only have the long block, I don't have the lower intake manifold for it. Just the upper supercharger. So you might be off trying to source the whole unit.
Off topic, but I think that way of selling a car off Craigslist is horseshit and wouldn't go near them. I have had seller's play me like that before. F them.A while back I brought up that a Chevette was for sale near my house. Well, the owners finally got a title for the car in the ad and they are doing a jank auction-type thing Saturday morning.

Just a couple of questions for you all:
Drew
- Do any CK5 members in the Denver area have the ability to transport a vehicle like that (I would pay whatever you considered fair)?
- I am thinking that I could get the white manual Chevette for dirt cheap. I thought I'd put in an offer of $700. Do you guys agree or think that's too low or too high?

That is all.
Early 80's anything gm or otherwise has questionable build quality. Cheap plastics on the inside, crappy carbs, miles of vacuum lines and a very anemic 4 banger that lacks any level of power or torque to pull even the slightest hill.@ZooMad75 I saw your earlier post but maybe didn't realize just how bad they are . It's hard to imagine anything being as shoddily put together as my Mitsubishi . I was coming from the mindset of cheap manual RWD project that I could get up and running for minimal $$. If they're as bad as you say, I will absolutely stay away. Just got excited with the prospect of cheap manual to play with.
Edit: Also no apology necessary I seriously appreciate you looking out .
