Not sure what happened here! There was an altercation with a tree root or something. The dent in the front is old, but the new one pushed my fender in about 6"! Thankfully my 40" emblems survived! I drove pretty hard all day. I can definitely say i took more damage in one trip than I have in the last several. I think the only other carnage was some side trim on Matts rig. :o

Thans guys! It was a good trip. I hadn't been in over a month so great to get out in the woods. Hoping for more snow for our new years day run!

Most of those are the actual trails in the park closest to us. The muddy one in the video they keep adding rock to it to try and make the ground firmer. DNR in WA state is REALLY big on runoff and stopping silt from getting in the streams. The trails are fun this time of year, but they are always "fixing" them.

Loks like good times. I like pics of trips but you can't beat a good action video.:waytogo:Luke not make this one?

Luke was holding the camera for the onboard doughnuts video and a few other portions. He sold his Sami and is gonna build an S-10 Blazer on 3/4 gear.

Yeah, that looks like fun!
But isn't it cold with the half doors and the top off?

It was in the low 40's that day. I still have a functioning heater so its actually not too bad. The floors stay warm from the motor and exhaust. I actually had the fan turned off at one point cause I was warm. I dress pretty warm too.

Can't keep door handles or glass in the doors wheeling a fullsize up here. The top didn't stand a chance so I sold it with the Silverado tailgate before I F'd them up :haha: I meant to do the same with my Silverado doors, but...

Haha, I know what you mean, I just busted a door window in my 2500...:o
And thats not even my real wheeling rig

It looked colder, here it would suck without doors right now.
It's been around -20 degree C (-4 degrees F)for over a month now.
I love the winter, but this is just too much

Yeah I think if it was that cold I would be looking into someting to at least cover the back of the half cab.

Local club did a "Sober-Up" run on the 1st. Lots of newbs so it was a slow day, but a great time! We ran one trail in the dark with just three of the more built rigs in the club. That was pretty cool! I know I need better lighting underneath!

It was also my wifes first trip out. The other wives in the club convinced her LOL. She did good for most of the day, but the low temps finally got to her around 3 pm and she traded seats with a guy riding in my buddies Grand Cherokee :D

It was in the mid 20's when we got there so all of the trails were icy mud.. No traction. The guys with newer Toys and Good years had an easier time than those of us with weathered Swampers. The one rutty hill climb the red Yota is in the pics below. Right when I would reach the top a 10" mound of frozen mud would defeat me and I would slide backwards ten feet with all four spinning forward :doah: Fun day though with lots of throttle :waytogo:

This was pretty funny! The wrangler trying to pull the Yota up the hill couldn't get any traction so everybody grabbed the strap and pulled :haha:

why does every Blazer wheel with a Cherokee? My main whellin partners are an 87 xj and 99 xj. And then there's a dodge. Why isn't there a thread on this phenomenon?

Good observation. :haha:

Cool pictures! So where's the pics of rigs climbing the hill behind the group shot? I see the tracks... :D
