Where did you guys get your carpet?

I bought the whole back half and it didn't come with the wheel wells

Edit: Never mind, I'm a liar. I just opened the box and it did. I'm stupid...

I am thinking about putting carpet back in my blazer instead of doing the line-x and was wondering where you guys bought your carpet kits? LMC, Classic Industries, Stockinteriors.com? Thanks!
Someone sells a rubber mat that is the same shape as the carpet I would go with that.

I bought new carpet for mine and it was essentially ruined after 3 months.

Do you know where? i would love to have a rubber mat. Kind of like the 90's Bronco's (cringes and starts mumbling gibberish).

i run a rubber truck bed mat, works freakin awesome... ya just buy the large universal square one and cut to fit...

To which one are you referring? the polyvinyl or the rubber mat for 73-76 blazers/jimmys? It looks like the rubber one is only for the front as well. Probably wouldn't work right on an '81+ blazer without modification

where from? How well would it insulate for sound and heat?

sorry for the 20 questions :doah:.. I'm contemplating this too because with just the bedliner in mine it rattles like a tin can and heats up pretty quick.

I have the protecta.... the universal all the way at the bottom... $79

thats big too, you end up with a LARGE chunk leftover.. enough for 2 large pieces in front of the front seats if desired.... you'd need 2 to actually cover the whole floor... i need to get another for my front section...

helps a bunch with heat transfer, noise not as much, but some...

I was referring to using the polyvinyl for the front and then if I needed something heavier duty for the rear I'd do like ryoken said and cut a pickup mat or something to fit in the back.

I figured the polyvinyl up front would be tough enough for my needs but it sounds like you guys are wanting something a bit heavier duty.

I think the molded polyvinyl would be plenty strong.

Ryoken's idea is good too, durable + less expensive. I wonder if one could find a durable sound deadener to put under the truck bed mat. (Durable as in resistant to moisture and easily removable for cleaning). I'll keep looking...
