i want to add overdrive to the crew cab. this truck is turning into a complete teardown project to get what i want. currently its stock.
tbi 350/465/ 3.73s
what im converting to is
tbi 383/?/5.13s with 38s
it will be used as a dd/tow vehicle
optins are, but not limited to
nv4500
ranger o/d
gear vender o/d
least amount of mods to the vehicle = gear vender
lowest initial cost = ranger
highest initial cost = gear vendor
cant keep my front bench seat = ranger
slip yoke rear driveshaft = gear vendor
floor mods required = ranger/nv4500
split every gear with a switch = gear vendor
they all have thier issues. but im looking for more pros or cons
other stuff to consider
truck needs a clutch as it is
bellhousing is cracked
i dont mind modding the floor. been there
more shifter are cool
i already have a hydro clutch
