Window shut and clears, I put another one mid section as well

I had to cut a little fabric out from this area to clear the door cap and door, the fabric was getting jammed in there.

With the door shut, not the most professional job but can be fixed.

Here is how the back works

Anyone have one of these for a few years? It would be nice to have one but im wondering about longevity of widows lasting in the sun, or the top fading?

How long untill you think the windows start to yellow?

OOps found the tan but no Grey. Am I missing it?

No,you're not missing the grey. Sorry about the brain fart. I meant tan...sheesh. I should know what color I want for my Jimmy..."Tan,Tim,you want tan. Not black, not white, not grey, not purple,...T-A-N...tan! OK?" (Was just I talking to myself?)

That's a sweet looking' Blazer there, muddybuddy. Got any top-up pics?

I think MUDDYBUDDY had a brain Fart.:D

Kinda wondering myself...pretty truck...but it pertains...?

haha sorry i thought i wrote something. thats a tonneau style soft top. i didnt see if he specifically wanted the traditional soft top or all of them. personally i like this kind the best because its very quick to reinstall just before the rain comes. theres a rear window as well, but i never drilled the holes in the cab to install it, I would just bungy-cord it around the mirrors when rain was coming.

Yeah,Softopper is the brand name. I can see the confusion since basically they borrowed their name from a term some folks use as a generic description. I have my Jimmy for the back seat, among other reasons,so I want a full top. I have plenty in the pickup dept. already.

Well,I made enough money at Spring Carlisle so I ordered my Softopper. I guess I better get the rest of the work done that I plan so I can get out and enjoy the summer.

I like the looks of the STC much better but I like how the back piece is on these. Opening my tailgate is a real hassle. Getting my sides on isnt easy either. Good thing I have a big shop to park in. :D

If you want a soft top and you want it now, call Softopper! I ordered mine on Sunday and it was on my porch last night (Thursday) when I got home. I wish the bills I mail could get delivered that fast! LOL! I don't even have my tags and insurance yet. I want to drive the Jimmy "as is" first. Then swap suspension/axles/tires and the top after that. That's just how I want to do it,in stages so I can see what it's like in each. So,don't expect pics for a little while.

So anybody ordered one of these with the tinted windows?

I have an STC with tinted windows. Are you wondering about tinted windows, or the Softtopper tinted windows specifically?
