With ck5 fastly approaching 2000 registered users I was wondering who has the baddest blazer on the sight. Motor,
axles, tranny-transfer, wheels-tires, looks and most inportantly functionality, etc etc, those who feel that they are
in the running should post pics.

Just start at the top of the readers rides page and go all the way down man!

My vote would be for Shawn Spicklers\' K5

I think Shawn has one of the sweetest rides out there. Big Block, 6" lift, soft and hard tops, SM465/NP205, custom shafts with 1350 CV's, Dana 60 and 14 bolt FF, 4 wheel disc brakes, sweet paint job, RS9012's, and more probably what else could a man want? Potent Rodent Rocks !!

................lol. Lots of great rigs here, many specific areas have their better points, lots of it is opinion of course.

Too many great ones to split hairs over.............

Tho its hard to argue with Harv..........Shawn and Steve have the two that come to mind. Tho I wouldn't trade my motor for anyones..........

Honestly, going for looks, functionality, and just plain old bad-assness, im in kindof a three way tie between Steve (Fox), Shawn, and Depdog. Between the three of them they basically have everything I want my truck to someday be.

For a K5, and from what I have seen and read on this site, I would have to vote for..........POTENT RODENT!!!
Now, can anybody tell me who has the baddest K30?!?!

Yeah, I have looked at readers rides and there are definately
some fine rides in there, but I believe there are also a lot of
people with sweet rides who are not on there and I was wondering if someone would step forward and show there
beasts. I agree with the posts so far as to who is in the runnings, but where I was going with this is thinking how bitchin it would be to hold an anual CK5 top blazer challenge
for members only. It would just be really hard to get everyone
there who could enter, but it would definately be something to
remember.

Dont forget Stephen Watson at ORD. His truck has all the cool stuff that you can get. And the stuff they dont make--he makes it himself. And sells it to us. Right on!!!! My truck-hardly the baddest but its on its way. Check it out in the readers ride at my real name ken barbour. I'm sure mines one of the ugliest. So ugly i'm afraid to post pics.

Shawn's is set up nice now, for an all around proven trail rig, Stephen Watson has to be at the top of the list, I also like DBLAZER's K5, both of these guys get it awn!! There are a lot of others as well.

K5: Because size DOES matter

WOW, I was wondering how long it would take for somebody to make a post like this. This is the kinda thing where you aint gonna look modest no matter what you say, so O.K. MINE.

Its not near the prettiest, it does not have 1 ton axles, but pound for pound mod for mod I think that I have one of the baddest K-5's around. Never fails to amaze the Jeep (you pronounce that Heep in spanish) crowd at the events and trail rides I go to. It begrudgingly gains their respect by Performing on the trail, I have even rescued a few Jeeps with the old Beast.

Most trail rigs are never truly "finished", mine is pretty close although there will always be something just out of reach that I think I cant live without. For my side of the country and the wheeling we have here it ROCKS.

There have been a lot of folks here that have copied my ideas and I am proud of that, after al, what do they say "imitation is the sincereset form of flattery". I saw Stephen Watsons K5 early on and was inspired to create. I built my K5 by myself from the ground up. Only had help from friends when something was just to big or heavy to do by myself.

I carry tons of spare parts, am locked front and rear, have on board air and on board welding, not to mention loads of vehicle recovery equipment. I could make a HUGE list of the stuff thats on my K5 and in it, but man that would take a while and I realy dont feel like typing that much.

This is the post where you toot your own horn, hope I dont offend anybody my tooting mine!

Im gonna have to say, that of all you guys, (who do all have sweet trucks) mine is still the greatest. A wheezed 305, NEW 31" tires, (oversized), rustyy floor air conditioning, imaginary 6" lift, gas tank that has a gallon of diesel fuel in it, ( PLEASE dont ask ) and non working tailgate definately adds up to the best rig on this site. Just ask anybody.

I really appreciate the comments! Mine still needs tons of work. Roll cage, front bumper (my Warn sucks), Doubler, 38" tires are just a few of the things that come to mind. Oh yeah, the engine needs to be installed!

Hopefully this weekend.

No one would argue Steve Watsons is the king and lately with the addition of 1 ton axles, and 42" Swampers, it's just a beast. He's also talking about adding a big block
cool.gif
. I got the pleasure to ride in Watsons last summer. That thing just took the trails like it was nothing and rode like a Cadilac compared to mine. His custom springs really work.

I started going though some of the readers rides and Blazers I've seen previously and there's so many that stand out as a well built Blazer. There's no way I can list all of them but here's just a few.

Steve Fox (duh), Big Daddy89, Dblazer, blazer72, rockblazer, Steve Frisby, Depdog, Grim, Thumper, trustyk5, Mudzer, Boss, Burt... I can go on all day. Lets not forget the Blazer of the Month over the years. I'm only talking Blazers, not Subs or trucks. For Subs, Titanic and BIg Burb come to mind.

Take care guys!

Definately, Shawn's, Steve's, Dep's, Stephen are on top of the charts (that I've seen and read about). I can't boast my rig up right now, b/c it's not worthy compared to theirs. I know there are many more out there, but my brain isn't working right now, but those rigs listed just jumps out.
Aww...thanks Shawn, for listing my rig. Hey Shawn, I will definately have1 ton axles, crossover steer, TSM disk, 37" meats, and all that other stuff you helped explained to me under my rig this May!!!

Depdog, toot away. I like the Beast in a 1/2 ton package. You have my vote. I rember the first time I saw your truck. Rember the ice storm the morning that 4WP had their grand opening? My friend & I were checking it out in the parking lot. When I got back from the CK5 Tellico run last year and told him you were there, he was bummed he didn't go.
