im in the middle of putting a body lift on my truck to clear the clocked (in the farthest up position) doubler...im just not happy with the way it looks so im thinking about taking the body lift off and just beating the floor in...how much will i have to beat to clear a ford clocked flat doubler...also im wondering about clearing the 44s with only about 5 inches of suspention lift but i think i will just limit the uptreavel to about a inch...here is how the truck looks with one side of the body lift done...

Id finish puttin it on, gives ya an excuse to change the body mounts, and make sure you dont like how it looks. Heck, I like my body lift, makes changing spark plugs a breeze, lay on the tire, and reach through the gap in the wheel well.

I had a one inch on my Blazer and still had to cut the floor needed about another inch so I'm thinking two  that is a lot of beating :D

I would ditch the body lift and cut and patch the floor.

If you can I would try and get more than 1" of uptravel. Its pretty annoying even on a trail only rig; bottoming out on the bumpstops between obstacles gets old pretty quick.
