Well just a little update.
We have replaced the valve cover gaskets
timing chain cover gaskets, replaced the Harmonic balancer, tested for a fuel pump camb lobe and found nada. Tested a few times just to make sure, even looked in the slot for the fuel pump push rod while rotating the engine.
No biggie electric fuel pump it is, now to decide with one for the Qjet.
Now on to clean all the brackets, an get the engine ready to install as well as wash an pressure wash the engine bay to get everything ready.
