Who's Using A Super Duty CV Driveshaft??

I may upgrade the front shaft too, But not planned in the near future. Sooner if it does break I guess. That's currently my weak link. I'm blessed with 1550 joints in the front knuckles too though.

If you would be so kind, would you shoot me a copy of that parts list?

And having 1550s in the diff, you can see how big the knuckles are. Ball joints or not the Super60s are meat monsters. The rotors are almost 17".

If you don't mind doing a little digging, I think I found the info you folks need.
First, here is a link to MOOG U-Joint numbers, dimensions, and the Spicer numbers they cross to. Yeah, I know, I used "cross" in a U-Joint reference...

Now, go to Rockauto, lookup any Ford truck about the right year, go to the heavier models, and look at the U-Joints. Most of the listings have at least one MOOG replacement.
Find one with the number that matches the Spicer you want, and click on that MOOG number. It will popup a list of the year, make, and model of trucks that use it.
For instance, a 2005 Ford F-350 SuperDuty, uses a MOOG 330, which is the same as a Spicer 1410. As do many more make and model trucks too numerous to list.
Just click on that 330 number.

The same truck, uses a MOOG 231 in the CV joint, which is a Spicer 1350.
The AC/Delco numbers will tell you what you need to know, if you know the equivalent Spicer number.

im using them and have been for several years. rears seem to last but i broke the fronts all the time. i would over extend them and break the ball off in the cv. i have since gone to a single 1410 tom woods superflex at the tcase and 1350 superflex joint at the axle.
all 99+ are 1350 joints. 97 and older are 1330.

the 99-04 and 05-not sure when, are different lengths by a little bit. same diesel auto trucks. but the 99-04 bolted in to my k5 with a th400 205. rear 56s flipped and a 14bff. fell into place no mods except the flange at the tcase.

there is one thing to know about the superduty CV. there is an early and late design. the saginaw cv has flat edges on the H yoke whereas the spicer cv has the H yoke round around the ujoints. saginaw cv isnt worth rebuilding or is not rebuildable. One or the other.

this is the "good" one where you can see around the joint caps is rounded and smooth transition over the cap.

I use a front shaft from a PSD 3/4 ton for a rear. Got it at a junkyard, think it came out of an 02, but not sure.

Th350 / np205 with HAD flange and it fit just right on my 76 K5 with 14bolt rear / 4" lift. Took it all out after I wrecked it amd now same tcase and driveshaft is in my 72 / 2.5" lift with a conversion joint at the 12bolt. Can't remember if I had to have it resized.
